About this product
This graphite iron is a right-handed 5 iron with a 27-degree loft, designed for beginners, high handicap, or senior golfers. It features a graphite shaft for more speed and control, an oversized rubber grip, and a cavity back head. The club includes a headcover and is made of alloy steel. It offers a 1-year warranty and is sold as a single iron.
Our take
I grabbed this single 5 iron to test for a senior player. The graphite shaft does feel lighter than steel, which should help with swing speed. The 27-degree loft is standard for a 5 iron. The oversized rubber grip is comfortable for arthritic hands. However, for $114, it's pricey for just one club. The cavity back is forgiving, but it's not a full set. If you need a specific iron to replace a lost one, it's okay, but beginners would be better off buying a whole set. The included headcover is a nice touch.
